Proactive care for every patient
The healthcare system needs to reach people before they fall through the cracks — not after. Serene deploys the AI agents that make that possible.
The Mission
Amplify care providers’ capacity to reach at-risk patients, improve population outcomes, and reduce the financial and operational burdens of healthcare.
The Vision
A stronger social safety net, where intelligent systems remove barriers and keep people connected to care — a future where preventative care is the default.
The Problem of “Care Gaps”
Millions of patients miss critical screenings every year — mammograms, colonoscopies, bone density scans, medication check-ins. Clinical teams are stretched thin, barely able to handle the calls coming inbound. A single care coordinator would need to make thousands of calls to clear all their gaps, even if patients pick up (they often don't). Necessary calls don’t get made. Gaps grow, and eventually we get sick.
Cancer, disabilities, and chronic diseases often start in these gaps. The costs are immense — cancer treatment alone exceeded $200 billion in the US in 2025. The loss of life is immeasurable, and often avoidable if conditions had been caught earlier with proactive screening.
Our Solution
When patients get proactive outreach for regular services and screenings, everything downstream improves. Conditions are caught earlier, treatment is less invasive, and the cost of longitudinal care drops — for patients, clinics, and insurers. Eventually, coverage becomes cheaper as the population becomes healthier on the whole.
We deploy autonomous AI voice agents that call patients to close care gaps at scale. Beyond scheduling appointments, our agents identify barriers to care and work to remove them. Whether it’s language, transportation, or a lack of understanding — our agents help.
Core Beliefs
We founded Serene with a conviction: the most important AI systems we build will be the ones that care for people. Our agents are designed with the primary goal of improving the quality of human life, with a focus on safety and alignment with clinical outcomes and societal well-being.
